Matosinhos

Located next to Porto and privileged by its proximity to the Atlantic, Matosinhos stands out for its strong connection to the sea, with its beaches, fish and seafood-based gastronomy and for having one of the best port infrastructures in the country, Port of Leixões.  

An important residential destination in the context of Greater Porto and the most valued after that city, Matosinhos is also an important economic development engine in the region and is increasingly sought after by companies.

The contemporary architecture is one of the city's points of interest, with several works by renowned architects such as Casa de Chá da Boa Nova and Piscina das Marés, signed by Siza Vieira. Souto de Moura, who signs the Marginal de Matosinhos project, has also contributed to the new face of the city.
