Algarve

The golden sands, the ocean in all shades of blue, the rocks, the cliffs, and the mountains. Some towns are more traditional, others area more cosmopolitan. The Algarve is made of many colours.

Land of many Colours

THE BEACHES AND THE SUN

The 200 km of coastline and the mild climate are typical of the Algarve. A region known for its wonderful sandy beaches that extend as far as the eye can see, small bays, the dazzling and magnificent Ria Formosa are some of the features that have turned the Algarve into one of the best holiday destinations in Europe. But not only this. There are also the Mountains - Nature in an almost pure state in an Algarve ready to be discovered and explored, where fish-rich gastronomy and unique sweets stand out.

TOWNS

The region's towns are another source of contrast. Silves with its vestiges of the Arab presence and Lagos with a strong heritage from the Age of Discovery invite you to discover the past and history. Near Silves, Portimão and Albufeira, more cosmopolitan and remarkably busy, Loulé, where Vilamoura was built becoming the maximum corollary of the region's international projection as a residential tourism destination. Faro, a city that counterbalances this contrast between the traditional and the more urban, is located before the recently discovered Sotavento, where Tavira or Olhão are strong highlights.

GOLF DESTINATION

To relax, in addition to the most varied Spas, a large offer of luxury hotels and resorts, water sports and nature sports, there is the Algarve of Golf. An unavoidable sport destination in Europe, the Algarve has several internationally awarded golf courses and its great climate allows playing throughout the year.
